Being in the Walker household might be kind of awkward for an outsider. It's generally very quiet, if not silent. As a matter fact, the only sounds you'll ever really hear are the occasional whirring of the vaccuum, the pitter-patter of keystrokes coming from Jack and Emma's office, and, if you listen carefully enough, music blaring from Sarah's room.
To Sarah, the silence was deafening; and if her parents were talking, it was rarely not fighting. That's why she listed to music when she was home, or she just wasn't home. Inside her room she was laying on her bed flipping lazily through a People magazine. It was just the classic stuff. Break-Ups turned into Make-Ups, "I lost half my weight!", and of course the uh-oh Lohan DUI. She closed the magazine and carelessly threw it off her bed and flipped over on to her back. She needed a run.
Sarah grabbed her iTouch and armstrap, turned off the blasting radio and walked out the door. Outside it was a nice day. The sun was shining giving off a nice 74 degree temperature. It was the definition of perfection. Sarah turned on her iPod to her running playlist and started off with a slow jog. She gained speed slowly, only really running after what was probably 5 or so minutes. With her music blaring in her ears, there was nothing that could touch her. [/blockquote]
