Jack nodded her head to the beat of the song she was playing. It didnt have any lyrics yet but the sound was nice. It had kind of a punky rock sound to it something you could rock to. Her roomies were out right now so she was just chilling for the moment by herself. Jack didnt ever really feel like she needed to be around people so if when she was stuck in her room alone, it wasnt too awful. Besides it gave her a chance to work on her music without anyone telling her to can it because they wanted quiet or something like that.
Her fingers started to play, 'crashing down,' by sugarcult. She started to hum it before finally singing it a little hit. She had been listening to that song earlier and it was stuck in her head. she layed back the guitar resting on her stomach as she played. She closed her eyes finishing it off. Her fingers stilled and she opened her eyes again looking up at the ceiling. Her head tilted with a slight sigh and then suddenly she was sitting up. She needed to do something. Sitting down was not an option right now.
Putting her guitar back in its case and sliding it under her bed she ran her fingers through her straightened black hair and then headed out of the door. She didnt have a destination yet. Jack rarely ever planned things. This usually annoyed some of the people that hung around her while others thought it was great. Why not, expect the unexpected. Jack liked to just see where things took her.
As it seemed it took her to the park. She hadnt really ventured over here yet. okay that was a lie. She may possibly have gotten drunk once and thought it would be great to try and fly off of the swing from really high up. What? People do it all the time. At least drunk she wouldnt feel it as much. Good thing too, she nearly broke her leg. Anything drunk people think is a good idea is usually a bad one. Well at least they were entertaining. Of course then again there were some that got really mean and aggressive. Jack wasnt like that really. She was only mean and aggressive if provoked. Okay maybe that wasnt true, sometimes she liked a good fight and depending on her mood would try and provoke, drunk or not.
There were a few kids running around, but the sun was starting to set so it would be dark soon. Theyd probably have to run home for supper and bed time. Jack rolled her eyes a bit. She was so glad she didnt have to worry about that stuff and she was glad the children would be gone. Okay so she had a short temper with kids and they annoyed her. not her fault, they werent hers therefore she didnt have to like them. She knew if she ever had a kid it would be different, but when that time came... and that time would seriously be in the very far future, then she would love her child. She wasnt too sure how much her kid would love her, but hey shed find out. Besides it would be stuck with her so... ha ha!
Jack made her way over to the area with the playground. She grabbed onto the bars of the merry-go-round and then started to push it letting go and grabbing more to make it go faster and faster. Finally when she was satisfied she waited for the right time before grabbing onto two of them and jumping on. She grinned, sliding down till she was laying on it, her head out a bit so her hair was out over the edge, flying in the wind as it went around.
It felt good. She let her arms move out to the sides of her, resting up against the bars. She would have liked to not need to use the bars, get that complete feeling of flying, but she also wasnt completely stupid, she knew if she didnt have that shed probably fly off. She closed her eyes again just letting the feeling go over her.

- - - - - - - - - Adam slammed his bedroom door, locking it shortly after, his chest was throbbing. He placed a hand on it wincing at the pain. ”fuck’, his dad had threw the television remote at his chest, out of drunken anger of course. Moments like these happened a few times at Adam’s house, so he was used to it, it was another reason why he didn’t make it home a lot after he went out. He hated being here, he rather sleepover someone else’s place, another reason why he slept around a lot. He lifted up his shirt and looked down at where he was hit with the remote, red mark, but it wouldn’t leave a bruise. Probably just be sore for another hour or so, he dropped his shirt and shrugged hearing his dad banging on his door yelling at him to get back out there. Adam shook his head and threw his signature black leather jacket on, walked over to his window and slid it up, slipping out of the tiny frame. It was his getaway window; he snuck out through this little thing almost every night.
Ten minutes later, he found himself near the entrance of Palisades Park, he was still a bit pissed from the event that had just occurred but was a little calmer now. He needed something to take his mind off of it, he scratched his head and he walked in and looked around. Where the hell was he going to go? He wasn’t sure of any parties tonight, which pisssed him off a bit. He saw a figure of a girl on the merry-go-around that just caught his eye immediately, he couldn’t tell who it was not from here. But she definitely looked like something to do, or someone to hit on to pass the time. He smirked as if he was marking his target and walked closer to her, he stood about 2 feet away from it watching her. As the merry-go-around came to a slower pace, Adam recognized the girl immediately, Miss Jacqueleen Rose McCool. His smirk glowed a little more, this girl was pretty amazing, definitely a hottie in Adam’s book. ”How lucky am I? To have the chance to run into you here”, he smiled speaking loud enough for her to hear him clearly. - - - - - - - - - Word Count: 361 Tag: JACK! Outfit: Notes:

Jack was in her own little world. The sounds of the kids were receding, soon shed probably be here alone. Jack hummed a little to herself as she felt the merry-go-round start to slow down. She didnt hear him come up, the wind in her ears was enough to distract her, though at the sound of his voice, she tipped her head back trying to see who it was. As she passed a couple times she managed to figure out who it was. A smirk touched her lips and she laughed a bit. Well if it isnt Adam Roberts
Hooking her feet she pulled herself up, shutting her eyes tightly as she felt the dizzying affect from all the movement around her. She opened her eyes again and turned pulling herself into a standing position and straddling one of the bars. Hm... if you count yourself lucky, what about me? she licked her lips.
You going to come up?she asked as she passed him again, it was going much slower now. If you do make sure you push it some more.she told him. So what brings you to the park all alone at night? she asked him. No parties? or girls demanding your attention? she teased.
Adam was a popular guy, especially with the ladies. Maybe it had to do with his blue eyed, dark haired good looks. Jack had a thing for blue anything, especially guys with dark hair and blue eyes, it was probably the thing that even had her sleeping with him that first time. They had a certain friendship. Not the type that had them hanging out on a regular basis, but they were there if needed or if they ran into each other. Much like now.
Jack ran a hand through her long black hair, her fingers untangling any knots it ran into. Sometimes it was a bitch to have long hair, but she hated to chop it off. She loved her hair. Shes done that once, just for the hell of it. It hadnt been too bad, but she missed the length. Jack brought her hand back to the bar, leaning forward a bit, her blue eyes glinting with excitement. SHe got like this when certain things were presented to her. She usually always had fun with Adam and she didnt think anytime would be any different.

- - - - - - - - - Adam was glad that the park was becoming more and more empty by the minute, nobody wanted their child around when Adam was hitting on a girl. They’d probably have to cover their ears or else, they’d turn out like him, objectifying woman and what not. He gave a small nod at the sound of his name, ”In. the. Flesh.”, he said slowly unable to keep his eyes off of her. One good thing about Adam when with girls, he knew how to keep his attention on them, without having a wondering eye. He knew how to make them feel special and like his eyes were only for them in that moment, sure, they knew what was on his mind, but at least he did it with respect, right?
Hm… if you count yourself lucky, what about me?, he smirked at these words, this was exactly why this girl was one of his favorites. You going to come up?, he smiled nodding lightly, he looked around and pursed his lips at her next questions. He gave a shrug, ”Just wondering around hoping a girl’s beauty would lure me in her direction… looks like it’s working”, he smirked her way, he wasn’t going to tell her the real reason he was there. No one knew of the crap at home, Benny knew some, but not details. Adam wasn’t very trusting when it came to friends and lovers, he kept most of his problems to himself and he planned to keep it that way.
He chuckled a little and shook his head; surprisingly there were no parties that he knew of. As far as girls went, there was always girls wanting his attention, but Adam wasn’t very submissive to giving it to them unless he felt like it. Right now? It was Jack’s turn. She was one of the few that he kept around; she liked and wanted exactly what he wanted out of this so-called friendship, which was definitely comforting. It was annoying when girls got all needy and clingy, Jack wasn’t like that, she knew what to start and went to stop. ”Hold on… your in for a wild ride”, he smirked spinning the merry-go-round, he meant ‘wild ride’ in many ways, he didn’t have to explain though, jack knew what he meant. After it was at a good speed he hopped on, not too far from her, holding on with one hand to a bar. He looked over at her, it wasn’t JUST sex with her, he liked hanging out a bit, she knew how to have a good time. ”Busy tonight?”, he managed to get out before his head got a little dizzy, he ignored the feeling though. - - - - - - - - - Word Count: 450 Tag: JACK!
