she's the sweetest... The Movies. Who knows why the two girls had chosen to go to the movies... To wreak havoc, possibly? It seemed like something that Lagan and Anna would do.
The two are close, and roommates. Anna was out and about, running errands, when she suddenly wanted to go and see a movie. So, pulling out her phone, she sent Lagan a text, telling her to get to the movies. It was simple enough, and straight to the point. From that point, Anna turned and was on her way to the movies. She didn't know what was playing, but she figured that she and Lagan would find out when they got there. If Lagan didn't show up, Anna would just text people until someone said they were on their way.
She had been on her way to the store - her and her roommates were in desperate need of some food. Anna could go later on today, after the movies.
Soon enough, she was at the movie theater. Anna parked her car, and quickly checked her appearance in the rear-view mirror. Her hair was down, and left with soft curls. She hadn't done much today makeup wise, just a swish of mascara and a light layer of gloss.
Approving of her look, Anna made her way into the theater and waited for Lagan to show up. Or not show up.[/sub] - - - the sweetest thing[/sup] ( BUT I KNOW SHE'S NO GOOD FOR ME )

( WHEN YOU GO, WOULD YOU )EVEN TURN TO SAY, I DON'T LOVE YOU LIKE I DID YESTERDAY. lagan wasn't doing anything this evening, marking it day number two of her operation stay at dormhouse and do nothing. she'd been doing rather well, too, but she was getting restless. and when anna, her roommate, texted her and asked her to go to the movies, she immediately relented. it was the most simple thing, but she was going to enjoy is immensely.
she quickly threw on some clothes, some denim jeans that were basically gone (there was just enough to cover her like shorts and some to wrap around her legs) and a black tanktop, gathering about 25 different necklaces to throw about her neck. her hair stayed as-is and she just lined her eyes thickly with eyeliner, throwing on some sunglasses. she shoved her toes into sandals and out the door she went, heading to the theatre. it was a short walk.
lagan still hadn't gotten enough to get her gold trans am, but she was almost there. she arrived at the place, looking around for the familiar face of annabel murphy, her friend and roommate.

she's the sweetest... After just about five minutes of waiting, Anna spotted Lagan. It wasn't too hard - the girl was unique. Anna herself was more out there with her style today, wearing bright colors that didn't necessarily match. A dark grey mini skirt matched with a loose shirt that was an electric blue, and cinched with a dark grey belt around her waist. Her shoes were heels - of course - and the same color as her shirt. As soon as Anna spotted Lagan, she grinned and yelled her name out before heading over to her. Anna said Lagan with an accent, she wasn't sure what it was, and maybe someone would call it preppy rich girl? Anyhow, she had dragged out the second 'a'. It wasn't an annoying call as much as it was funny. Well, Anna found it slightly amusing. Finally reaching Lagan, Anna grinning and gave her roommate a tight hug. Lagan was much taller than Anna, mainly because she was just so damn short, but whatever. Anna having heels on helped and it brought her height up to 5'5". Four inch heels do that. "Hey hon," Anna greeted, "You sure as hell got here fast. Nothing going on?"[/sub] - - - the sweetest thing[/sup] ( BUT I KNOW SHE'S NO GOOD FOR ME )

( WHEN YOU GO, WOULD YOU )EVEN TURN TO SAY, I DON'T LOVE YOU LIKE I DID YESTERDAY. lagan heard her name being called ina long, drawn out way. she could tell by the voice it was anna. she quickly headed over to her, being encased in a friendly, warm hug. "heyyy," she said, laughing a little. "haha, no. nothing at all. i've been cooped in the dorm for the past two days," she admitted, tossing her hair out of the way.
she led the two over to the ticket queue, getting into the line behind the last group. "so just a craving for popcorn, or did you really want to see a movie?" she asked her roommate, a teasing smile on her face. the queue was moving up pretty fast, so lagan kept one eye on the moving people and the other on anna, giving her her full attention.
not literally, actually. that'd be weird if there was one eye on ann and another on random people. and yes, lagan had imagined that in her head when she'd thought of it.

she's the sweetest... As Lagan answered her, Anna was still smiling. She practically always was, but around friends the smile practically never left her face. The only time it did was when she was pissed, in a bad mood, or just joking around and trying to be serious. It was just.. her. "Well, that's just wonderful," Anna commented before they started walking towards the ticket line. Lagan then started asking Anna the motives behind the sudden need to go to the movies. "Well. Actually, I was just sort of driving along, on my way to the grocery store, and I just wanted to see a movie. So I shot you a text, and changed direction." Anna explained herself with a shrug of indifference, like it was something that happened everyday to everyone. Even if Lagan wasn't looking directly at Anna all the time, she could tell that the other girl was paying attention to her. It wasn't too hard to tell - her eyes kept switching over to look at Anna every few minutes. "What movie were you thinking of seeing?" Anna asked, still having no clue as to what was playing. The line was moving quickly, and the two roommates were close to the beginning of the line. [/sub] - - - the sweetest thing[/sup] ( BUT I KNOW SHE'S NO GOOD FOR ME )

( WHEN YOU GO, WOULD YOU )EVEN TURN TO SAY, I DON'T LOVE YOU LIKE I DID YESTERDAY. this was why lagan liked anna. she was always happy and smiley. smiley and happy. happy happy happy smiley happiley.
she was creeping her own self out. she shrugged a little. "yes, ohso wonderful," she joked, pulling out her wallet for a fiver for her ticket. "sounds like typical indecisive anna," lagan said with a playful nudge, blatantly mocking her friend. "you have like, a.d.d. or something. you're driving for groceries and then all of a sudden you wanna see a movie," she chuckled as they made it to the front of the line.
"erm, how about....avatar or something?" lagan wasn't really bothered by it. "apparently it's supposedly amazing, but i don't really know or care, haha." she nodded to the chick behind the counter, asking for two to see avatar. their tickets were printed out and they paid. "mkay, now we need popcorn. and lots of it."

she's the sweetest... Lagan was joking around… which was a main reason behind why Anna loved to have her around. Well, sure, Anna hung around a lot of people. Practically everyone, actually. Anna was never one to really think about cliques or stereotypes to get in her way, and none of that mattered in her eyes. They were all people – and after high school she would probably hang out with all types people anyways, so why not just start early? It hasn’t seemed to hurt her at all… ”Yes, yes. I don’t even know what happened… One minute I was dead set on getting groceries, because, you know, we really, really need some,” Anna explained herself in total seriousness. ”And the next I was here! I don’t really know what my thought process was.”Once the two were at the counter, Anna pulled out her money to pay for her ticket. ”Yeah, I’m alright with Avatar,” Anna shrugged with a smirk on her face. ”I don’t really give a fuck what we see anyways, and I guess three hours of blue aliens is alright with me,” Her smirk turned into a teasing and mocking grin. ”At least I heard that the main human guy is hot, that makes anything worthwhile in my eyes.”As Lagan started talking about getting popcorn – yum – Anna had to agree. ”Yes, we need a lot of popcorn. Definitely,” She said as Anna started walking towards the concessions. What else would she get? Probably just popcorn and an Icee. Anna loved Icees. ( WHEN YOU GO, WOULD YOU )EVEN TURN TO SAY, I DON'T LOVE YOU LIKE I DID YESTERDAY? lagan had to laugh. anna's mind sounded like hers at the moment, completely unpredictable and very, very random. she was handed the tickets and gave one to anna, headeing away from the queue because she didn't want to be in the way.
"hahaha, blue aliens for three hours," lagan was cracking up for really no reason, but she was still doing it. "hahaha, that's rich." she calmed down after a second as they got over to the concession stand because they needed popcorn, chocolate, soda, popcorn and chocolate. and lots of all of that. lagan ordered a large popcorn for herself, some snow caps and a large mountain dew. "i swear, if i gain any weight for this, i will definitely blame you," she teased, waiting for anna to get herself.
this was going to be a pretty interesting movie time. lagan wondered if there were any random people in the movie theatre that they could harass (aka, throw popcorn at)

she's the sweetest... Anna accepted her ticket from Lagan and they worked their way over to get their food and whatever else they desired to have during their movie watching experience.
As Lagan started laughing, Anna soon joined in. When someone around her was laughing at something, whether or not she knew what they were laughing at, Anna normally started laughing too, especially if they were her friend. This time though, Anna found the topic kind of funny as well, so it wasn't a fake and confused laugh, but a real one. They both have huge differences.
At Lagan's comment about getting fat, Anna just continued to laugh. "Hon, if you get fat because of this, it certainly isn't my fault. We'll go running later or something, you can join me on my daily run," she told her. Anna ran every single day, as it was part of her 'healthy lifestyle' plan that she had picked up at the beginning of freshman year. Popcorn and Icees were technically off of the list - but she was making an exception. Once Anna got up the counter, she ordered her medium popcorn and a medium Cherry Coke Icee. She had told herself that she wouldn't get candy, but the twizzlers looked really really good, so Anna ordered those as well. "I can't believe that I'm getting candy," Anna mumbled. She wasn't sure if Lagan could hear her, but she started laughing at herself anyways. She had practically no self discipline.
After Anna got her items, she made her way to the theater that the movie was playing in, mentally preparing herself for the hilarity that was bound to happen once the lights dimmed. For a moment, Anna felt slightly bad for the other people in the theater today. Oh well.
