ANNABEL CLARISSE MURPHY just say to me that this will be the last time and i'll pretend that somehow we'll be fine. The sun was shining brightly overhead, and Anna couldn't be happier. Today she had just woken up in an amazing mood, and nothing has shot it down yet. Normally her mood was decent by mid-day, no matter what mood she had woken up in, unless it was terribly tragic and horrible.
Anna was currently strolling without a real destination along the pier. Brightly colored attractions and set ups were along the two sides of her, the activity making her grin. Living in a place like Santa Monica meant that you could experience this kind of outrageous endeavors whenever you chose to. When she first moved here, she was somewhat bothered by all of the tourists, but it was something that she had gotten used to. Anna actually kind of loved the visitors now, it gave her more people to meet, more cultures to observe.
In was late in the afternoon. The sun was shining over the ocean, and there was a light breeze drifting through the various obstacles that it found. The breeze was warm, as always, and the temperature was around 60. Life was bustling around her. Couples holding hands and just having a good time with the adventures to be found on this one locale. Young children tugging on their parents' hands with a newfound excitement, dragging them to something they found endearing. Anna was desperate for that kind of carefree life. She once had it, to an extent. Her parents were never around, but before that was even an issue, Anna was happy doing all of the normal childhood adventures with her nanny. Being in a good mood had helped her outlook on everything, and she stuck to the good memories, shoving the bad away. She wanted to be in a good mood for as long as she could.
Anna's straightened warm brown hair was swaying in the light breeze, with a few strands sticking to the lip gloss that was currently swiped across her lips with perfection. She tugged the pieces of hair to their proper space absent mindedly, her charcoal gray eyes fixed on a trapeze school. The Trapeze School from New York were currently visiting in, offering lessons and classes. How much fun would that be? If she had someone to do it with her, she would definitely sign herself up for the next class.
She continued to move forward, her neon pink heels clacking along, making her steady pace evident to her ears. Deciding to stop for a little while to just watch the trapeze classes, Anna found an empty bench and sat down. Crossing her white skinny jean clad legs, she adjusted her light gray tank. Fixing the beaded neckline, she adjusted it so that it fit onto her as it was supposed to. Pulling a mirror out of her hot pink Kate Spade purse, she checked over her hair. The neon headband was still in place, and she quickly tugged sections of her hair from the back to lay on her shoulders. Satisfied, Anna put the mirror back in its place, and her eyes drifted up to the enthralling event of those learning the art of Flying Trapeze.
( This is a current Santa Monica event, link for information here if ya wanna read about ittt. [: )

damien had been terribly pessimistic for the past few days. anyone that knows him should know that this almost never happens. damien is always happy, always! to the point where it is almost creepy. he laughs, he jokes, he giggles---he giggles some more, but lately, he'd been in such a glum mood. he'd been sulking around the house all week and his mother was even beginning to get worried. "damien jonathan harris i want you to go outside...do anything...i don't even care if you come home with another broken bone, anything is better than watching you mope around. go on, shoo and take that thing with you!" she exclaimed, pointing to ursula. when damien had texted his mother about three weeks ago, saying that he finally bought a new kitten for the house, she was beyond thrilled. however, when damien brought home ursula...
she wasn't exactly happy. though, ursula is beginning to grow on her. just a bit. he was so friendly and loves to cuddle, how can you hate a creature like that? just because he looks different on the outside doesn't mean he isn't warm and adorable on the inside. with a sigh, damien rolled himself off the couch and landed on the floor with an audible thump. not wanting to face his mother wrath, he figure maybe it would be best to get at least some fresh air. you didn't want to mess with damien's mother, she was a nurse. to damien, that was scarier than anything else. he crawled his way to the bathroom, splashed some water on his face, and did his best to fix the mess that damien liked to call his hair. he threw on a white shirt, purple hoodie, and black jeans before grabbing ursula's leash.
yes. cats have leashes too! ursula loves going for walks! damien noticed his mother shiver a bit, when he clamped ursula up and headed out the door. some people will never accept the beauty of a hairless cat. the two made their way down to the pier and soon damien realised that this wasn't putting him in a better mood at all. people making out, couples holding hands, it only made damien feel more glum and lonely. thank god for ursula. people gave him strange looks as they walked by, but damien didn't care. he loved his hairless cat. damien was about to give up and go home, when he recognised a very familiar face. ahh, the lovely annabel. maybe she could brighten up his mood a bit. damien made his way over to her and placed ursula down on his lap.
"we should do that, it could be fun", damien said, inclining his head towards the trapeze lessons. "hello ms. murphy."

ANNABEL CLARISSE MURPHY just say to me that this will be the last time and i'll pretend that somehow we'll be fine. Watching Damien approach where she was sitting, Anna couldn't keep a straight face. Just the site of her friend made her grin broaden exponentially, but Damien tugging along Ursula on a leash? The view was priceless, and Anna was holding onto her sides, trying to control her outburst of laughter. One arm was wrapped around her waist, and the other hand was clamped over her mouth, trying to halt the giggles that were spilling from her lips.
Finally in control, Anna grinned up at him.
"Hello Mister Harris," she greeted, trying to be serious. "How are you doing?" Once Damien sat and brought Ursula into his lap, she scratched underneath his chin. "And hello Ursula," she cooed, bending down to place a kiss on his head. For a while, Anna was adverse to him... But he had really grown on her, even if she hadn't had much face-to-face time with Ursula. "Taking Ursula for a walk, Damien?" she asked with an eye brow raised as she straightened herself out. Anna was still scratching underneath Ursula's chin, but she stopped to wrap her arms around Damien tightly in a greeting.
Once Damien said something about the trapeze school, Anna was excited. Bouncing up and down on her seat, she sent him a huge grin. "I was just thinking that I needed someone here with me so I could take a class. And you showed up!" she exclaimed with excitement evident in her voice. "I think it's fate that we take a class," Anna concluded. She looked over to Damien for confirmation of the plan, if he was up for it. He normally was. She really was happy that of all people, Damien was the one to find her. And Ursula.
The Trapeze lessons really did look like a load of fun, and Anna wanted a bit of adventure. Damien always seemed to be down with anything adventurous and fun, which made the pair good friends. Their willing to try things for fun. The two were vastly different as well, but it's not like that was an issue on Anna's part. She didn't have any ill feelings towards him, and would even go as far as to claim him as an Older Brother figure in her life. He was there when he was needed, even at those times where she felt like she had no one to turn to. Damien was there as often as he could be, or at least that was how Anna viewed it.
She sighed wistfully at the Trapeze Artists, then turned her head to pout to Damien until he said yes. It wouldn't take much, he had practically suggested the idea anyways. "You know you want toooooooo," she goaded as she pouted at him.

damien watched as anna tried to cover up her giggles, only to result in a "fail." "don't you giggle at me young lady", he said, in his best mock angry voice. he wagged his finger at her and scrunched his eyebrows together, trying to look as old and mean as possible. this was also a fail, on damien's part this time. "i'm fine me' dear and yourself?" damien asked, dropping his mock anger instantly. once he saw anna be kind to ursula, he couldn't help but smile. no one was nice to his poor cat. ursula just wanted to be loved and all at once damien could hear ursula pur from anna's touch. see? love went a very far way. "yes, he does love to get away. i see ursula loves getting love from beautiful women. he gets that from his father you know", damien said, with a wink.
he accepted the hug, feeling very happy to be in a non pessimistic mood for the moment. anna could do that to people. make them happy, it was a rare gift. but a gift none the less. normally damien couldn't appreciate it, because he was usually the happy one, but today, he would bask in her happiness. damien stared up at the trapeze artists, swinging back and fourth with such ease and grace. "i'm not very graceful and i'm not very coordinated, but i'm not afraid of heights and i'm always looking for an adrenaline rush, so why not?" if annabel wanted to start now, he'd have to bring ursula home. he was a talented cat, but he wasn't ready for trapeze yet. maybe one day. "as long as it isn't overly expensive and i don't need to wear spandex i'm down. no i lied, i'll wear spandex as long as it isn't red. red is so not my color."
"though if i die", damien said, covering ursula's ears, "you have to take the cat."

ANNABEL CLARISSE MURPHY just say to me that this will be the last time and i'll pretend that somehow we'll be fine.
"I'll giggle at you if i want to!" She replied adamantly. If Damien was going to pretend to be mad at her, she would return the mock anger and sass. The false anger and Damien's failure to pretend made Anna laugh all the more, so the giggle-berries returned. So much for controlling myself, Anna said to herself. "I'm doing greaaaat, thanks for asking," she answered, grinning up at Damien.
With Damien's comment about Ursula and herself, calling her a 'beautiful woman', Anna couldn't help but laugh again. She really did laugh a lot, especially while in company of her friends. "Does he get loved on by lots of pretty women?" She asked with curiosity, quirking an eyebrow. "Do YOU get lots of love from pretty women?" Anna questioned, bumping into his shoulder playfully as she grinned at him some more. The girl was one smiley, happy, bubbly chica. What else would she do other then bitch and smile?
As they started talking about the Trapeze classes, Anna's excitement increased by a ten-fold. The idea of Trapeze made her squeal, it just sounded like so much fun to her. She was always up to try new things, and this was one of them. She didn't feel any fear, but she did have that irching feeling in the back of her mind, shouting at her, telling her all the horrid possible outcomes of this. She barely even hear them, they were so far away, tucked into her mind. "I don't know why not, I think it sounds like so so so much fun!" She exclaimed, still bouncing in her seat. "So let's go check out the price, and I don't think that there's anything you have to wear, and you look just fine in red," Anna placated as she rolled her eyes and sat up. "Plus, you'll have to take home Ursula," Anna pouted, somewhat sad to face the fact that the friendly cat would have to go home for the two to have their fun in the Trapeze lesson. "And Damien, you won't die, but if you do, I'll gladly take Ursula. I love him like my own," she once again cooed to Ursula, well, technically Damien, but not really. Anna began to pet Ursula again, and stopped after a short moment. "But you won't die. I won't allow it," Anna assured him as she straightened herself out.[/sub][/blockquote][/blockquote]

"i believe miss, that you are infected with the giggled", damien said, unable to control his own giggling. when people laughed and couldn't stop, it's hard to control yourself. it's an infectious disease. "you are doing great, eh? does that mean that their is a certain boy in ms. murphy's life?" damien asked, with a wiggle of his eyebrows. usually when women said they were great, it meant that there was a male presence. or chocolate. either or. "of course he does, Ursula loves the attention. he's a straight up whore like cat. well...i mean...not usually. the ladies don't throw themselves all over me. they like to admire from far away." actually, damien had been meaning to chat with anna for a while now! he needed to get inside the mind of a female. it was dangerous territory, but he figured that anna was trustworthy. "can i ask you a hypothetical question?"
"okay, i can rush home real quick, drop off ursula and then we can go find out everything, okay? i'll be back in ten minutes, i swear." damien happened to live right down the street from the pier. "don't move an inch", he yelled over his shoulder, already walking towards his apartment. within minutes, damien led ursula back in to the apartment, making sure that he was snuggled up nice with a blanket and his troll doll. damien really needed to find more of those so ursula could play some more while damien was away! the poor creature! five minutes later, damien was back in front of the lovely annabel. he was a wizard. "see! wallah! no more ursula! i am magical." damien glanced up at the trapeze artists one more time. eh, you only live once. "LETS DO IT, GIRL!"

ANNABEL CLARISSE MURPHY just say to me that this will be the last time and i'll pretend that somehow we'll be fine.
"Well, I do believe that I am," Anna replied, still giggling. "And you," she poked Damien accusingly, "Aren't helping any!" This statement in itself threw Anna back into laughter, but after a short moment she stopped herself again. It really was hard to gain control of your laughter. "And I'm practically always doing great, sweets. I don't need any man to make me happy," Anna stated, able to keep a straight face. "But if just happens that I do have a man, so whatever." She rolled her eyes and looked away from Damien for a second. "So Ursula gets lots of admirers? Or you do?" Anna really was confused as to who they were referring to in this moment in time. "And go ahead, even if it's not so hypothetical. Ask away," Anna grinned at Damien. Damn, she really did smile or joke around all the time, didn't she? Before Anna could even respond, Damien was on his way to drop Ursula off at his house. Following orders, Anna just started people watching. So she continued watching the families, the couples, the children. The games and the bright colors, making young children's faces light up. Before she could even really get people watching, Damien had returned, Ursula-less. "Oh yes, you are so magical Damien, so so magical," Anna couldn't help but grin at his return. She noticed his glance at the trapeze artists, and it put her mind right back onto the task at hand. Oh, this was going to be so much fun. With Damien's comment, Anna grinned and stood up, making her way towards the place they were set up. "Yes, lets!" Anna reached the trapeze artists, and started looking around for someone who looked like they could get them signed up. "Damien, who do you think looks like a trapeze artist worker person?" [/sub][/blockquote][/blockquote]
