--ESCAPE MODE IN THE SECOND FLOOR CLASSROOM[/blockquote]abby was in history class when she heard the gunshot, and she was one of the first to scream. the class had been writing a test, but that plan was quickly ditched. the panic really started when mrs linde, the teacher, acted quickly and ran to the door to lock it; but got shot in the arm in her haste. luckily, she was able to close the door before the shooter beat her to it, but she's in total pain and the whole class is going crazy.
it is unclear whether the shooter is going to try to get in or not, but abby knows that she is prepared to do whatever she had to do in order to live. she is sure that she is not going to sacrifice herself for anything, and although she was planning to hide in a corner and cry, her mind has been changed by the genius who decided that escape was possible.
unfortunately, the classroom is on the second floor, and there is only a rickety looking roof leading into the exposed courtyard. it's still better than nothing, though. despite the risk, most of the class is planning to try to get out of the school, as they really don't want to die either.
