confidence was a beautiful thing, wasn't it? no, not really. abigail had no idea where that burst of confidence came from- it was just a spur of the moment thing, and now damien was probably going to think she was just weird and creepy and bleh. abbi pit her lip a little, studying damien's face for some sort of reaction. it was to be expected- his eyes were wide, but there was a sheepish grin turning up the corners of his lips. that wasn't expected.
sure, damien was pretty attractive and would make perfect dating material, but they were best friends- probably even closer than that. abbi realised that she was making up reasons for the against argument and trying to not think of the for argument. hm. damien kissed her back, "nope, it didn't feel weird to me. what about you?" "i don't know." she was confused, she didn't know what was going on. "if i say yes, does that mean we're dating? and if i say no, does that mean that we're just still.. whatever we are?" confused valentine was confused.

damien paused for a moment and blinked at abbi. now the situation was really confusing. "no, no! it doesn't mean we are dating...we were just experimenting, because we are weird?" damien said, half asking and half telling. "i think we are still whatever we are, right?" what were they now? "we are just two people who love glitter are extremely weird and kissed. nothing has changed!" no, nothing at all....nothing at all...nothing at all...but boy was that a nice kiss. now damien felt all warm and fuzzy on the inside, like a fungus was growing all over the walls of his stomach! abbi was adorable and perfect, but two people couldn't just date randomly, could they? the two had never discussed this in their life.
"i hope i didn't make things awkward!" damien exclaimed, his voice cracking a bit from being nervous. he bit his lip and ran a hand through his hair. oh god. he was horrible when it came to women. damien should just give up and join the brotherhood. it would make life so much easier. "but you are a nice kisser, i'll admit it. i am not ashamed of the truth!"

abbi just pushed the subject over her head, otherwise she would end up thinking about it too much. plus, she was the one that decided to kiss him- it was different. "that's cool." she smiled, returning to her laid back position and twisting her hair out of the loose bun that it was put back in. "to answer your question, though. yeah- it was weird. but hey, we are weird. we've established that."
"i hope i didn't make things awkward!" abigail protested, shaking her head quickly. "i kissed you. it's different. and no, it's not awkward." it was only going to be awkward if they made it, and she had no intentions of doing that. she laughed a little. oh, so she was a good kisser? that was fine with her. "mm. thankyou. you're not bad yourself."

"just another day in the life of two strange teenagers. what shall we do next? learn to tango? go for sky diving classes? i'm feeling the second option, i've always wanted to feel the wind in my hair." damien was a complete adrenaline junky and sadly he hadn't had the opportunity to sky dive yet. if he was ever able to, he would jump on that in a heartbeat. damien popped a skittle in his mouth and moved the orange ones closer to abbi. "you can have these ones, i saved the for you, the loser." damien smiled and continued to munch, enjoying the red ones the best. some people say they all taste the same, but not to damien! he was very picky when it comes to food. certain colours or textures really grossed him out. "you know what is nasty, my dear abbi?" he asked, moving the yellows off to their own corner. "banana flavoured things. i have never experienced a delicious banana flavoured food, drink, or candy. they are always the nastiest ones...."
"okay, no awkward. i think that's why i like you so much!" most people would carry on, acting weird around each other from now on. but see, abbi and damien were two very different people. they would probably continue on with their strange nonsense. it was the beauty of their relationship. maybe one day they would bring it up again, but for now, damien would leave the poor girl be. "i know, i practice with a sock monkey every night. his name is george."

abigail mused, "i personally think we should go white-river rafting. now that's pretty cool." it would be indeed! she was a total adrenaline junkie, but she'd rather do something where she could feel something instead of just free-falling down into nothing. sure, the chances of dying or serious injuries were pretty low but there was still that small percentage that was going to niggle away at her little brain. oh no.
damien pushed over the orange and yellow skittles towards her. "funny. i swear these were mine?" she poked his nose with her index finger lightly, and threw a bunch of skittles into her mouth. damien was so weird with orange coloured candy. "they're not banana, idiot. they're lemon. and they're good." she carried on picking at the skittles before dumping the rest down on the table. she wasn't hungry.
"we're pretty strange, aren't we?" being strange meant being different, and that was a good thing. but abigail felt as if damien and her could be too strange at times. meh. "damien?" she paused for a while, crossing her brows as she was a little confused herself now. what was she doing? "what if i said that i think we should date?" oh dear.
* SHE HAS CONFIDENCE BURSTS. and this is one of them. idc what you put. :3 haha. <3

"i think i like that. would i get to see you in a bikini?" damien teased, poking abbi in the nose. "aha, i got my revenge." the two could really do anything and have a fun time. it wasn't hard to amuse the two. they were silly little creatures who were amused by things such as glitter and sock monkeys. "not any more", damien said, an evil smile playing on his lips. "you opened up the magical purse and i took out what i thought was rightfully mine." he put another skittle in his mouth, an evil look still played on his face. oh yes. damien was a sneaky one, eating all of abbi's skittles....yes, yes. evil damien, evil! "ew, i don't care if they are good, they are yellow and they are so not lemon. i refuse to try it! it's evil, evil i say!" damien flicked one of the yellows off the table and did a little victory dance when it landed over by another table. "evil demon that one."
damien sat up and looked at abbi in the eyes when he noticed that she was being serious again. serious abbi? that was something you had to pay attention to. "yes abbi?" "what if i said that i think we should date?" oh my, what a question. did damien have an answer? he paused for a moment and then gave abbi a smile. "well i'd say i'd be more than willing to try, because you are an amazingly beautiful girl who has a wonderful personality and i'd love to date you. though, i think i'd have to see how you kiss one more time to help me with my decision..." damien winked, but then went back to being serious. "do you want to try it out, abbs?"
